Hi Bob,
I just want to let you know that your book has been a lifesaver for me during the last couple of days.
Last Sunday, I tripped on a marble sidewalk and broke my upper arm/rotator cuff. I’ve been in a sling and in a lot of pain. I’ll go in for surgery on Monday. Needless to say, I haven’t been able to do anything. Therefore the days have been extremely boring and long. I’m not good at sitting around doing nothing.
Your book as been on our coffee table since we purchased it at your presentation (at the Northshire Bookstore). I’ve been saving it for when my Backroad Discovery Tour Business slows down. Two days ago, I picked it up and started reading, for a diversion.
I absolutely love it. The chapters are short, filled with humor and great stories. I love how you go from a little story of something that happened in your life and then relate it to a much larger issue.
Your book is putting a smile on my face during this disheartening time. I’m not letting it out of my sight…and it will follow me to the hospital. I’ll need your kind of therapy after my surgery!
